Hello and welcome!
- I am a Postdoctoral Fellow and Lab Manager of the Fission-track Laboratory at the Institute for Nuclear Research in Debrecen, Hungary. Currently, I am on a sabbatical leave working on an exciting project as a Marie-Curie Fellow at the University of Göttingen, Germany. Stay tuned for the outcome of our project on my blog.
- The lab was established in fall 2018 and recent research was focused on detrital zircon and apatite fission-track thermochronology. Further research goals include the application of the method for answering regional geological questions in the Alpine-Carpathian realm, the Fennoscandian Shield and in other regions of the world! On a long-term, methodological developments are planned mainly in the field of track formation and annealing in zircon.
